Halloween

We had a great Halloween this year.  Beckett was actually starting to get it all figured out by the end.  The weekend before Halloween we went to San Antonio.  We went for the Utah State/ UTSA game.  My grandpa was the athletic director at Utah State when my dad was growing up and my mom went to Utah State so we love the Aggies.  My parents ward also did a trunk or treat that weekend so that kicked off our Halloween festivities.
Here's my sweet little Darth Vader all ready to go!
We carved our pumpkin for Family Home Evening.  Beckett thought it was fun until we started cleaning it out.
 The finished product
On Halloween, Beckett and I went to a little party at the park with a bunch of other kids.
Here he is on the search for more candy.
 Beckett and his friend Halen.

Beckett stealing tortilla chips this time instead of marshmallows.
Ready to go to the ward Trunk or Treat
Beckett wanted to eat every treat right after he got it.  They would put it in his bucket and he would take it out and try to eat it.  Apparently he still needs to learn about wrappers.  Towards the end of the night he started getting things figured out and he would say t..t..(trick or treat) and pick out a piece (or handful) or candy.  Beckett still says t..t when he wants a treat. We may or may not have reinforced that one!
After the festivities were over Beckett relaxed by riding his tractor around the house.
I think they definitely should have included sunglasses on Darth Vader in the movie.
Beckett apparently went Trick or Treating for The Book of Mormon.
Halloween is so much more fun now that Beckett is old enough to sort of get it.  I'm sure next year will be even better!
