Tagg's grandparents came for a visit the beginning of this month. We were able to spend a lot of time with them while they were here. Tagg's grandparents are so awesome! They are actually one of the things that sealed the deal for me wanting to marry Tagg. We went for a visit to their house over President's Day when Tagg and I were dating. There's just something about them that made me know I wanted to be a part of the family. They are great examples of love, faith and how to have a happy marriage.
Griff was pretty excited about spending time with them as you can see from this picture.
We got together at Ned and Gena's house for lunch and the Saturday afternoon session of General Conference. It's fun to have so much family so close. Tagg's grandparent's came to Dallas and were able to see their son and daughter-in-law, 4 of their grandsons and their wives, and 7 of their great grand kids. Pretty nice for just making one trip.
While they were here we also had a nice Texas thunderstorm including hail and tornados. Luckily we were all kept safe, but we did get some hail damage. This is a piece of hail I grabbed from the backyard. Ping pong sized and some places got hail bigger than we did.
Of course we had to eat out at a few of the local favorite places. We had BBQ at Rudy's one night.
I think Beckett's favorite part of eating at Rudy's was playing at the train track with GG and Liam. And don't worry, the train tracks are no longer in use.
Thanks for coming to visit. We know you didn't come just to see us, but we sure were lucky to see you!
