On Griffin's birthday, we woke him up with a big smiley face pancake and sang happy birthday to him. Then we opened a few presents. It pretty much rained all day so we didn't get to do anything too fun during the day.
We went to Chick-Fil-A for dinner with Ned, Gena, Tucker, Amanda, Liam, and Darcy. Griff was pretty excited and got all dressed up in his new shirt and shoes.
That night, we a had a little ice cream party with family and friends. It was a fun night and it was great to celebrate the life of our sweet little man.

We took like 10 pictures and Beckett was making this same face in EVERY picture.
And of course we had to do a cake smash. We did one a few weeks ago and he mostly just played with the frosting but after a few minutes he actually started eating the cake.
Towards the end, Beckett wanted to dig in. In true Beckett fashion though, he didn't want to get his hands dirty so he just took a bite out of the center.
Thanks to those that came to help us celebrate. He's a lucky boy to have so many people that love him.

So fun to celebrate with you guys! Still can't believe that little man is one! Love those cake pictures...so funny. Love that Beckett just went for it. Your decorations were so cute and the ice cream bar was so yummy. Happy Birthday Sweet Griff! We sure love you!
